
Shruti is an Associate Fellow at the Centre for Development Studies, Observer Research Foundation (ORF), where her research examines the intersections between policy, economic diplomacy and development, with a particular focus on how emerging economies navigate shifting geopolitical and economic landscapes.
Previously, Shruti was a Policy Analyst at BowerGroupAsia, where she worked to assess and navigate the interface between business and public policy for the private sector. In this role, she provided insights on political and economic trends, regulatory developments and their implications for business engagement and investment strategies.
During India’s G20 Presidency, Shruti was a Coordinator for Think20 (T20) India and the International Finance Task Force. Shruti holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Honours.
