
Dr. Samir Bhattacharya is an Associate Fellow at Observer Research Foundation (ORF), where he works on geopolitics with particular reference to Africa in the changing global order. Before joining ORF, he served as a Senior Research Associate at the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF). He is particularly interested in Africa’s security landscape, the involvement of different external actors, particularly China, and Africa's engagement in multilateral frameworks. Dr. Bhattacharya has worked and travelled extensively across Africa and regularly writes for various national and international journals and newspapers.
