Dr. Shahana Chattaraj is a visiting fellow at the Centre for Policy Research New Delhi. She holds a PhD from Princeton University in Public Affairs and a Master's degree from MIT in planning and international development. She has held various fellowships and taught at the University of Pennsylvania and Oxford University consulted at World Bank and worked for several years at the United Nations Population Fund.

Shairee Malhotra is Deputy Director - Strategic Studies Programme at the Observer Research Foundation. 

Her areas of work include Indian foreign policy with a focus on EU-India relations, European foreign policy, European politics both at EU and member state level, and India’s relations with France, Germany, UK, Nordics, CEE region and other European countries.

Shairee has several years of experience working in Brussels - the headquarters of the European Union, at the European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS), and the European External Action Service (EEAS) - the official foreign policy arm of the EU - where she was selected at a success rate of only 1% for non-EU nationals. In addition, she has experience of several global Fellowships. 

Shairee also served as Coordinator for the T20 Taskforce on Reformed Multilateralism during India’s G20 presidency, and as Co-Chair for the T20 taskforce on Multilateralism and Global Governance for Brazil’s G20 presidency. She has been awarded as a top 40 under 40 EU-India Leader by the Europe India Centre for Business and Industry (EICBI), and is a founding member of WICCI’s India-EU Business Council. Her views have been widely published and cited in Indian and global media and academia such as Forbes, The Independent, The Hindu, Hindustan Times, Economic Times, Caravan, Brussels Times, Internationale Politik Quarterly, Council on Foreign Relations, LSE South Asia Centre, Haaretz, among others. She is a regular foreign affairs commentator on Indian national television.

Dr. Shalini Bhorkar is a Research Fellow at theCentre for Research into the Education of Marginalised Children and Young Adultsat St. Marys University London and she teaches in theM.A (Education International Development and Social Justice)programme.She is also an Honorary Postdoctoral Fellow at Institute of Education University College London from where she did her PhD in Education and International Development. Her research and practice broadly focus on critical debates in education quality and equity in low- and middle-income countries with an emphasis on the political economy of privatisation in school education.

Shalini Rudra was an Associate Fellow with Observer Research Foundation's (ORF) health initiative. Her primary research interest is in examining gender relations in health and how they manifest in influencing health behaviours. Her research involves various disciplines like social demography, health economics, development studies, and data-driven research. At ORF, she is part of an ongoing, large-scale data repository work that will culminate in a health observatory. Shalini is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the Centre for Social Medicine and Community Health (CSMCH), Jawaharlal Nehru University. She is studying gender differences in coping with Diabetes Mellitus. She obtained her M. Phil. in Development Studies from the Centre for Development Studies (CDS), Trivandrum, completing her degree with a dissertation on 'The economics of health care financing: An assessment of health expenditure by households'. She has a Master's degree in Population Studies from the International Institute of Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai.

Dr. Shamika Ravi is currently a member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, and Secretary to Government of India. Previously, Dr. Ravi was Director of Research at Brookings India, Vice President Economic Policy at Observer Research Foundation and Non-Resident Senior Fellow of Governance Studies Program at Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on economics of development including areas of Finance, Healthcare, Urbanization, Gender Equality, and Welfare and Poverty.

Shantanu Kishwar has an undergraduate degree in Literary and Cultural Studies, and International Studies, from FLAME University, and a Master's Degree in History from Ambedkar University. He works in the development and policy space, with experience studying education, labour, and ageing.

Shaonli Chakraborty is a development professional with over 20 years of work experience in various countries in South Asia and Africa. She has led and co-created national and global programmes on womens empowerment and benchmarking on violence prevention in the apparel supply chain. She has co-authored papers and books on gender-based violence gender norms and communications. She has a Masters degree in Environmental Sciences and certificate courses on health and gender. She is Director with the Catalyst Group.

Shardul is the Lead (Legislative Research) at CPC Analytics. As part of CPC he produces legislative briefs bill summaries and issue briefs for elected representatives engagements in legislature media and conferences. He is also responsible for drafting assembly questions resolutions motions identifying issues for other assembly interventions preparing research reports and issue-specific briefs on issues of state national and international importance and examining the performance of ministries and implementation of government programs among others.Shardul has a Masters in Urban Policy and Governance from Tata Institute for Social Sciences a PG diploma in Cyber Law from Government Law College Mumbai and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. Prior to working with CPC he has worked with Semantic Technologies Pvt Ltd as a Sr. Research Associate.

Sharon Sarah Thawaney is the Executive Assistant to the Director - ORF Kolkata and CNED, Dr. Nilanjan Ghosh. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from St. Xavier's University, Kolkata, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Honours) from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.

Sharon is a dedicated social worker with a strong interest in research areas such as public health, sustainable development, climate, and gender issues. She has acquired invaluable experience through her active involvement with organizations like the Indian Red Cross Society Kalimpong District, and Calcutta Rescue, where she has made significant contributions to various social initiatives and projects.

Shashidhar K J was a Visiting Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation. He works on the broad themes of technology and financial technology. His key areas of research looks at the intersection of telecommunications technology and media evolution of financial technology digital payment systems and net neutrality.

Dr Shatadru Chattopadhayay is Managing Director Solidaridad Asia. He holds a PhD in South Asian Economy from JNU Delhi. A specialist in sustainable supply chain development Shatadru has been instrumental in developing country-specific CSR standards and consumer communication logos for tea in India Indonesia and China and conceiving and setting up several stakeholder engagement models.
