Dr Sankalp Gurjar is an Assistant Professor of Geopolitics and Geoeconomics at the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune. He specializes on Geopolitics and Geoeconomics of the Indo-Pacific region, India’s Foreign Policy, and Asian Security. Sankalp is the author of ‘The Superpowers’ Playground: Djibouti and the Geopolitics of the Indo-Pacific in the 21st Century’ published by Routledge in 2023. He has contributed in leading academic journals and media outlets as well. Sankalp is a bilingual scholar and appears regularly on YouTube channels like Think Bank and Lallantop.
