Islomkhon Gafarov is a PhD in Political Science and a Senior Lecturer at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED). He specialises in Central and South Asia, particularly Afghanistan studies. He is the author of six monographs and more than fifty academic articles and theses published in leading domestic and international journals.
