Gamze Coskun Bakir

Gamze Coskun Bakir is a researcher and consultant on the MENA region, focusing on the Gulf, Levant, and Turkiye. She has previously worked at think tanks in Turkiye and has served as a media commentator on renowned channels, including CNN Türk, TRT, and Sky Türk. She has authored books and book chapters on Yemen, Libya, and Turkish foreign policy. Her articles, analyses, and op-eds have been featured in prominent international and regional publications such as Foreign Policy Magazine, Eurasia, ORSAM, and Hürriyet. Gamze holds a Master's in International Relations from Middle East Technical University (METU). Her education, fieldwork, and work experience encompass several countries, including Turkiye, Qatar, UAE, Jordan, Tunisia, the US, Spain, and Switzerland. She is currently based in Doha.
