New Education Policy

The draft report of the Kasturirangan Committee for the New Education Policy (NEP) has innovative suggestions, yet, it has been caught in controversy. The Centre amended the version on the official website. There is however a need to take an all-round closer look at the NEP draft before the Centre comes up with the final version.

Anandakrishnan is an educationist and former Vice Chancellor of Anna University, Chennai. He was the chairman of IIT Kanpur and former Chairman of the Madras Institute of Development Studies (MIDS), Chennai.
