Conversation with May-Elin Stener, Ambassador of Norway to India

Diplomat Diaries – the monthly feature from the Strategic Studies Programme – aims to host a series of conversations with serving diplomats and practitioners to discuss the key strategic and geopolitical issues of the day.

This April session will feature H.E. May-Elin Stener, Ambassador of Norway to India. The discussion will focus on Norway’s worldview and its outlook on Europe’s security architecture, India-Norway bilateral ties including the Free Trade Agreement with the EFTA bloc, and Norway’s peace and reconciliation efforts in the context of the Ukraine war. The session will be moderated by Prof Harsh V. Pant, Vice President – Studies and Foreign Policy at the Observer Research Foundation, New Delhi.
